Central Library level 1 group study area closed Thursday 25th June 2009

The Central Library Level 1 group study area (including the assistive technology room) will be closed to users on Thursday 25th June 2009 from 11am to 4pm for a special event. The Library apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.

ScienceDirect unavailable Saturday 20 – Sunday 21 Jun

The ScienceDirect e-journals service will be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance for approximately 16 hours from 14.00 Saturday 20 June to 06.00 Sunday 21 June.

Summer vacation loan arrangements

If you want to borrow books from the Library over the Summer, then you may be interested to know vacation loans are available from Saturday 20th June. Full details are available on the library website.

There are special arrangements at Central Library; the following conditions apply.

• from 20 June, Short and Standard loans may be borrowed on request by all borrowers until 3 October, providing there are still 4 copies in the library
• You must ask if you want any books issued for the vacation, otherwise the usual loan periods will apply
