Library Refurbishment news: Level 1 opens; Level 2 closes (temporarily)

by Debbie

The newly refurbished ground floor is now open. We’re still putting the finishing touches to it, but we are open again for book returns, inter library loans and so on. Please come and visit! We’d like to know what you think, so please tell us using the feedback form.

In further refurbishment news, we will be redecorating Level 2 of the Central Library. This will mean that Level 2 will have to close while the redecoration takes place. The project will begin on Monday 14th July, and we anticipate the closure will be for 3 to 4 weeks. There will be a fetching service if you need material from Level 2 – details on how this will operate will follow. We will keep you posted on the blog and on the Library website; see here for current information.

If you have any questions, please contact us.
