Athens access ceases 31 July 2009

by Debbie

All Athens access to our e-resources will end on 31 July 2009.

Most of our e-resources have now been set up with UK Federation access (also known as Shibboleth), however you may experience problems if you have been using the Athens route or if the resource is not yet set up with UK Federation access.

Several major publishers are still not ready to switch over to UK Federation and these e-resources can be accessed off-site via the Virtual Private Network (VPN).

RefWorks users who still access via Athens will need to migrate their database to UK Federation before 1 August or they may lose their data.

If you have any queries or experience any difficulties with accessing our e-resources please contact the Library Help Desk
