Environmental issues highlighted in Queen’s speech

The government’s plans regarding a range of issues affecting the environment were unveiled today in the Queen’s speech. These include proposed bills on: climate change, energy, housing, transport and planning reform.

As you’d expect there is already reaction from groups such as Friends of the Earth , Greenpeace and WWF.

Expect more comment in tomorrow’s press. If you’d like to search a range of media sources by subject try using Factiva.
